Practice Areas

In the area of personal injury law, we have substantial experience in the handling, settlement and trial of automobile, motorcycle and premises liability accidents. These cases often involve significant bodily injury, medical expenses and loss of income and require extensive preparation of liability and damages issues including development of medical documentation, accident investigation and the calculation of past and future economic losses. We represent persons injured by the negligence of others and provide the recovery of compensation for their losses through aggressive and thorough legal action.

Worker's Compensation

In the area of worker's compensation law, we represent employees who have been injured at work in various occupations. We thoroughly review all facts of each case to insure the receipt of all benefits; wage, medical, impairment and rehabilitation as provided by Florida law. Our extensive experience in all areas of worker's compensation allow us to advise and defend employers in workplace liability proceedings when ordinary coverage is in dispute or unavailable. We aggressively pursue our clients' rights to benefits and often assist them in the settlement of their future benefits when appropriate. Settlement of each individual case is an important consideration that is best made cautiously. Our experience in the mediation and settlement process provides our clients with the opportunity for a maximum recovery under the circumstances of each case.

Social Security Disability

We frequently represent claimant's seeking Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income benefits that have been denied in their initial application. Often times the case will require the development of evidence on the medical issues of a claimant's ability to perform activity, both physical and mental. We are familiar with the criteria required by the Social Security Administration for the award of benefits and can assist in the acquisition of benefits at all levels of appeal. We present testimony and argument on our clients' behalf in administrative law judge hearings throughout the area and prepare all pleadings and paperwork necessary to the process of acquiring benefits for the people we represent.

Additional Areas of Practice

In addition to our primary areas of practice we handle selected cases involving medical malpractice, nursing home liability, construction litigation, real estate litigation and insurance claim litigation. We also provide trust, probate and estate planning services in conjunction with the assistance of local CPA's and financial planners when needed.
